"FARFRUMLOSIN"

The car is back from Powedercoating and the results are spectacular. Bright red with grey hammertone accents. Here's some shots of the re-assembly and turbocharger buildup:

Farfromlosin Sandrail The interior. Mike took a cheap 3-hole aluminum console and had a long piece welded to it to make a car-length console to cover the shift rod, brake tubes and wiring.

Farfromlosin Sandrail These are the welded and match ported end castings for the single Weber 44 carburetor that will be used in the blow-through turbo setup. Plans for a dual carb blow through were scrapped when Mike discovered how worn the throttle shafts were in the carbs he had been using.
