Rear suspension and shots of the rolling chassis

After most everything that we could reach from above the car was welded, we put tires and wheels on the rail and pushed it out into the street
 
 
Mike wanted me to push him up and down the street....
 
 
Maybe we'll go to Glamis next week and I can tow him up to the top of the hills and he can coast down, all the while yelling, "Weeeeeeeeeeee!"
 
Here's a look at the rear upper shock mount, not finished yet as it needs a gusset on the top.
Mike went to Interstate Steel in Phoenix and had them shear floorboards to size.  They are 0.090" aluminum and will be drilled and dimpled before final installation.
 Sunday, November 3rd, on the way to the Karl's Custom VW swapmeet and car show in Mesa, we drove under a mess'o'balloons participating in the classic.
